Why Brandye's numbers differ from Shopify's

Shopper consent and how visits are counted explain most differences.

Brandye and Shopify count different things, so their numbers rarely match exactly.

Brandye only tracks storefront visits from shoppers whose cookie choice allows analytics. Shoppers who decline are not counted, so visit and add to cart numbers are lower than Shopify’s.

Visits are counted differently

Shopify groups a shopper’s activity into sessions. Brandye counts page views and the quizzes and conversations shoppers start.

Orders are complete

Orders come from Shopify itself, not from storefront tracking, so order counts and revenue do not depend on consent.
