# Turn on the AI Shopping Assistant

The AI Shopping Assistant answers shoppers' questions about your products and helps them choose. It is off until you turn it on.

## Turn it on

1. In Brandye, open **AI Shopping Assistant**.
2. Turn the assistant on.
3. Choose where it shows: the chat bar, the product page block, or both.

## What the assistant knows

The assistant answers from your products and from the knowledge you add, such as your shipping and returns pages. The more accurate that knowledge is, the better its answers.

## Review conversations

Every conversation is saved in Brandye. Read them to see what shoppers ask and where your product pages leave them unsure.
